The Smithsonian Institution Seeks Researcher

The Smithsonian Institution is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to fulfill a requirement for a researcher at the Smithsonian Latino Center in Washington, DC. The contractor shall research the Latino presence in the Washington DC Metropolitan region (specifically Northern Virginia) and perform project coordination for the Latino DC History Project.

The Latino DC History Project is a research project sponsored by the Smithsonian Latino Center that investigates the growth of the Latino community in the metropolitan region of Washington, DC, beginning in the early 20th century and continuing into the present. It seeks to understand the origins of Latino populations in Washington DC and to document the Latino presence in diverse aspects of the local history of Washington, DC and its surrounding region.

After carefully reviewing the RFQ HERE, please submit price quotes by email to Ranald Woodaman,, no later than 5pm EST, Feb. 20, 2012.  Be certain to register in the Central Contractor Registry before submitting your price quote.
