All this is fate. I never set out to be a documentary filmmaker. I was a broadcast journalist (and still consider myself one) but a few years ago after the San Diego Wildfires in 2007 I realized there was a golden opportunity to do a service to my community by telling a story that other mainstream media stayed away from.. the real story of the victims from those fires.
